So, what do I say about this one? Front page headlines in Boulder include this story about a woman who dyes her poodle pink. I guess I'd have to say that if this is front page news either 1. things aren't that bad or 2. things are that bad but people need mindless distractions to make themselves feel better. Thoughts?

Yes, it's a "fluff piece" (pardon the pun) in the newspaper. But with all that's going on in the world, sometimes things like this just seem like so much "panem et circenses", if you ask me.
