We Can Solve It

I was flipping through my new Men's Journal (yes, Men's Journal, they have great articles) when I came across a fabulous advertisement for the Alliance for Climate Protection (pictured below). I read about their logo first from my friends over at Crew Design

The logo's goal is to show that each individual person must do their part to help the earth but that together we can all make a difference. This idea runs through the advertisement as well. I am most excited about how text is used as image (one of my obsessions at the moment).  What a great idea to show that it's differences that make up the world, it doesn't have to be a negative. (Sorry for the scan, it's from very thin magazine paper so you can see through to the other side, but at least you can get an idea!)

Funny to me are such opposites as hip-hop and polka (I won a polka contest once, thanks to watching Lawrence Welk growing up), bloggers and media moguls (bloggers rock), nudists and prudes (ha!), night owls and early risers (me and Will), drivers and bicyclists (see previous post).  I can't wait to see what other things the Alliance for Climate Protection comes up with.
